History of Oshwal Games
The First ever Oshwal Games to be held in Kenya were a brain child of the Oshwal Youth League. The games started life as the Oshwal Youth Festival Back in Easter 1979 with the aim of incorporating sports, educational activities, culture & entertainment. The popularity of this festival led to the birth of the Oshwal Games. Ever since then the Oshwal Games have been held on an annual basis (exception permitting) being rotated around all Oshwal centers in Kenya.

The Oshwal Youth League Nairobi still retains the mantle of being host whenever the games come back to Nairobi, with the last games that were hosted in Nairobi being in March 2016, 25th Oshwal Games.

Total of 19 games were played which were Athletics, Badminton, Bridge, Bhukar, Cricket, Darts, Football, Gaming, Golf, Marathon, Roller Blading, Snooker, Squash, Swimming, Table tennis, Tennis, Tug of War, Volleyball & Water Polo.

The OYL Motto for the 25th Oshwal Games was “United We Play United We Win”
